Thrive - IT Solutions Attend YouTube Brandcast 2022 Event

After a long time, the Covid 19 Pandemic has stopped all business activities. YouTube finally held an annual marketing event called YouTube Brandcast, the last one was held in 2019. On this occasion, YouTube brought together local and international marketers including Thrive to reveal insights and data from YouTube in Indonesia. The event was held at Ciputra Artpreneur on Thursday (27/10/2022). 

In the 2022 YouTube Brandcast event, it was stated that 80% of adults in the largest cities watch YouTube on their own television. The top three pieces of content that they usually watch is music, entertainment, and videos about physical and mental health. And 87% of smart TV owners watch YouTube on Connected TV2. Where this has changed the way Indonesians define TV. 

Not only that, but YouTube Short also experienced significant growth. According to the Culture and Trends YouTube 2022 report, 59% of Gen Z consumers use YouTube Shorts to find video content they like in a shorter format.

"From live streaming concerts, and fun shorts videos, to watching Connected TV with family or friends, YouTube is the only platform to suit a wide range of people's needs and moods across criteria, formats, and devices throughout the day, " said Yolanda Sastra, Head of Ads Marketing, Google Indonesia. 

On the same occasion, YouTube Brandcast 2022 also announced the winners of the YouTube Works Awards, which is an award ceremony given to appreciate the most interesting, effective, and creative advertising campaigns. The following is a list of the winners of the 2022 YouTube Works Awards:
